The Challenge
Drying time for sheets, maintaining quality bedding options, and ensuring business sustainability are just three challenges in the hospitality industry. With these in mind, we have heard from properties searching for products that will help improve operational efficiencies in the housekeeping department while balancing a good quality product that their guests will love. Some properties have also committed to using products that are eco-friendly and more sustainable.
The Solution
Eden Textile understands the importance of quality and cost-efficiency. Thus, we developed our Innova Microfiber Linens, made from 100% recycled polyester to ensure quick dry time, wrinkle resistance and high pill resistance.
The material for this linen was carefully curated to confirm its efficiency. Our Director of Operations, Zach Kinshella, said that the Moisture Analyzer Method was used to prove that the sheets have an approximately 30% quicker drying time. Built at a comfortable 100 GSM and brushed to provide a lightweight yet durable sheeting option, Innova sheets have a comparable hand feel to cotton or cotton/polyester blended alternatives—at a more affordable price point.
The production of our Innova Microfiber Sheets has eco-friendly benefits. That means we using less water, chemicals, and energy during the production process. Through this production method, we were able to comply with the high standards of the Global Recycled Standards (GRS). It is with pride to share that our Innova Microfiber Sheets are certified by the Global Recycled Standard, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly linen solution.
Not only is the production process more efficient and eco-friendly, the sheets are made with 100% recycled polyester that saves a tremendous amount of polyester and plastics that would have otherwise ended up in our landfills.
What is Global Recycled Standard? The Global Recycled Standard is an international standard that sets requirements for certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. Each stage of production must comply with the high GRS standards.
The Result
This sustainable solution is a great option for properties. We continually see a growing demand of property owners for a more cost-saving, operationally-efficient, eco-friendly, high quality yet affordable linen option. With this, clients trusted us more and our Eden Textile team has committed to living up to the promise of developing and building great new product lines that are certified and tested especially with the growth of textile recycling and up-cycling technology.
